About Dr. Jennie Wang-Hall

Jennie (she/her) is a licensed psychologist who has been working with eating disorders at every level of care for the last 12 years. She is passionate about creating spaces of safety, compassion, and empowerment for others who are suffering. She is fiercely dedicated to social justice which manifests as sensitivity, awareness, and curiosity about the cultural and systems level factors that may be impacting wellness. Therapy involves a collaborative process of exploration of both the internal and external worlds impacting a person’s emotional and physical health. Jennie partners with clients and empowers them to create change if and when they are ready. She has a particular passion for supporting clients who have been told that they are doing recovery “wrong” or are “too sick” to receive the care they desire. Jennie will honor your agency and respect you as the captain of your own ship, while also bringing a deep presence and care to your process.

Jennie is a mixed race, cisgender, bisexual, dynamically disabled, new mother, and millennial woman. She has lived experience of an eating disorder as well as other mental health struggles so she brings both clinical and personal wisdom to every therapeutic relationship. Jennie loves being a psychologist and doing powerful liberatory work.
